GP Locum

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

The midwife holds a weekly antenatal clinic to guide you through your pregnancy, prepare you for motherhood & promote good health for yourself and your baby.  For further information an antenatal leaflet is available from the practice. If you are pregnant, you should make a first appointment with the midwife rather than seeing your GP.

District Nurses

Patients who are confined to their homes and who require nursing assistance may arrange with the doctor for a district nurse to call. Following discharge from hospital the nurse will normally call on patients still requiring nursing treatment at home.
